Here are a couple of relevant World Wide Web resources:

The "Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5" has a plot summary that series'
episode called "The War Prayer" at
http://www.hyperion.com/lurk/guide/007.html

On April 22, 1995, there was a world premier performance of The
War Prayer Oratorio (Music by Herbert Haufrecht, Libretto by Mark
Twain), at the Ulster Choral Society, Kingston, N.Y. An announcement
and reproduction of its poster can be found at
http://www.mhrcc.org/kingston/ucsevent.html

The poster shows Union and Confederate flags so they apparently
thought the story was about the Civil War, not the
Philippine-American War that inspired it.
