Lilian Jackson Braun's twenty-first mystery novel in her "The Cat Who...."
series mentions Twain numerous times. In "The Cat Who Saw Stars," the
protagonist carries several Twain books to his vacation cabin along with
Kent Rasmussen's "Mark Twain A to Z." Fond of reading aloud to his cats,
the protagonist reads passages from Twain to them before retiring each
evening, and the readings inspire him to suggest a local Twain Festival.
