Greetings,

_Huck Finn_ and the _Connecticut Yankee_ have often been considered to
continue the picaresque tradition of _Lazarillo de Tormes_. While it is easy
to find literature supporting this thesis concerning HF, I don't seem to be
able to find more than just allusions concerning the CY.
Can anyone help?

I am also interested in your opinions on another question:
Is the CY a realistic or naturalistic novel?

Any ideas welcome, either on- or off-list.

Thanks a lot,
Ines
