CCIS has become aware of the INT-10 virus on both it's
machines in T128 and on the PPP distribution on disk 4 and 5. If you
have used a disk in T128 or accidentally booted your machine with disk
4 or 5 of the PPP distribution in the A drive, it is possible your
system has become infected. The INT-10 virus can be easily removed
from a machine with McAfee scan 2.2.4. This is available from Help
Services as well as via ftp from exodus.ccs.yorku.ca in the directory
pub/MSDOS.Windows/Distributions/Utils called scn-224e.zip. You might
require pkz204g.exe, if you don't have an unzip program.
If you require further information or have any questions feel
free to contact CCIS Computer Help Services by phone at 736-5800 or by
E-mail at [log in to unmask] or drop by our office in T128 in the
Steacie Building.
