A Master Person Index is a key component of any distributed community health
information system architecture which is in turn a basis for electronically
based Prevention and Health Promotion efforts.


This is an RFI for an incremental approach to building a master person
index for community health information systems.  Respondents are asked to
critique the postulated concept of operations for the MPI and the related
