The York University Centre for Health Studies (YCHS) has a project to build
a bibliographic directory/database of VISUAL FORMAT material on any aspect
of "health" which would be of use to Health Studies (uses: curriculum, train-
ing, research). Materials would include: documentary, docu-drama, comedy,
fiction, non-fiction, public and private educational video/film, TV footage,
film, as well as multimedia resources. The project is particularly interested
in visual resources, reference to which might not be retrieved through standard
bibliographic search techniques, as well as information on the existance of
similar directory/database efforts elsewhere.
