Wellesley Central Health Corporation's mission is to promote the health of urban communities. Our vision is to be a leader and catalyst for enhancing the wellness and health of the people of Southeast Toronto and other urban communities.
Following its mission, we are pleased to announce the following four Wellesley Urban Health (WUH) initiatives: Site Initiative, Coalition Building Initiative, Capacity Building Initiative and Grants Initiative.
We promote and support healthy urban communities through the Wellesley Urban Health (WUH) Grants Initiative. We award grants for innovative urban health research projects that are conducted collaboratively by communities and academic researchers.
For the Wellesley Urban Health Grants Initiative for 2003/2004, Letters of Intent (LOI) are now welcome. The Wellesley Central Health Corporation will be awarding up to $650,000 in grants for 2003/2004. The deadline for the LOI is September 30, 2003 at 5:00 pm.
