If you are going to be in Chicago between now and Mid-May, and have an
evening for a good show, you should consider the performance MARK
TWAIN AND THE LAUGHING RIVER. Jim Post has written the script, lyrics
and music. He is an excellent singer and the music/lyrics have a
restful, wholesome lilt. Plus, he does a most acceptable Mark Twain as
he gives his lines. (Nice flowing lines, intended to entertain and
convey a congenial personality rather than a philosophy.) His musician
is Luke Nelson, a great entertainer in his own right.

We spent Easter in Chicago with our daughter and it was a bonus when
they took us to Jim Post's show. It is playing in Old Town (North Side
Chicago) in The Theatre Building, 1225 West Belmont Street. The
telephone number for information or tickets is (312) 327-5252.
