According to Alan Gribben's book, Twain owned the 1899 edition of _Father
Goose: His Book_ by L. Frank Baum. Does anyone know of any references to
Baum in Twain's writings?

Conversely, does anyone have any information concerning Baum's knowledge of
Twain's works. I'm sure that we can assume any persons of letters in
turn-of-
century American was familiar with Twain, but I wonder if anyone has any
solid information.
