Network Operations will be performing a hardware reset on one of the
campus core routers (kahuna.gw) this Sunday September 15th during the
Net. Ops. maintenance window (00:00-06). The reset is necessary  to
correct FDDI ring transition problems on the Machine Room subnet.
The following networks and their related services will be affected
during the router outage:

- petrie0.hub Petrie Science Building.
- telecom0.hub Telecommunications 016 Steacie.
- All access to and from the Internet.
- All remote Centrex and ISDN remote sites (Fac. of Edu, YCT, Executive
Development).
- lumbers0.hub Lumbers Building.
- atkinsontwrII0.hub Atkinson Building.
- ccis0.hub Computing and Communications Services, Steacie Science
Library.
- ccsvms0.hub Steacie Science Library.
- All access to and from Glendon College.
- scottpub0.hub pulic network access in Scott Library.
- scott0.swx Scott Library trusted access.
- Access to and from all services on the central services FDDI/Switched
Ethernet/Shared Ethernet machine room subnet. The internal ring itself
will not be affected.
