The Family Service Association of Metro Toronto has developed a tool to test
government policy to assist the Social Action Committee of the board to plan
advocacy work. Essentially it is a set of questions we ask about a proposed
policy. In our case it looks to see if the proposed policy furthers the
mission of our organization and the groups we work with.

To get copies of the Checklist on Government Policy please contact Rosemarie
Popham - Director of Social Action at FSA <[log in to unmask]> or you call her
at 416-922-8217 ext 241.
