This note is to clear up the confusion surrounding parking lots that are

reserved for the du Maurier Open tennis tournament.

This year, the event will start on Saturday, August 9 through to Sunday
August 17, 1997.  The scope of the tournament requires the exclusive use

of some parking lots, specifically; 3a, 3b, and 1a. To this end, parking

lot 3b will be closed to community members at the end of normal business

hours on Thursday August 7, 1997 and parking lots 3a and 1a will be
closed August 8, 1997.  Lot 1 Outer reserved is not affected by this
arrangement and decal holders are allowed to use the lot.

While these parking lots are dedicated to the tournament, please be
informed that if attendance levels necessitate, tennis spectators will
use other unreserved parking lots.

Decal Holders that regularly use these parking lots are advised to use
other unreserved lots for the duration of the event. Parking Services
regrets any inconvenience that this interruption of service may cause
our patrons. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require
more information on parking or about the tennis tournament.
