Network Operations will be installing new IOS software in all the main
routers on both the York main and Glendon College campuses Sunday July
7th, 1996. Commencing at 00:00 hours the entire York network will be
shutdown to perform the router enhancements. All services will be
restored prior to the 06:00 window deadline.

The upgrade will resolve some issues with both Appletalk performance and
provide features to enhance IPX or Novell performance.

During the upgrade of the routers additional work will be conducted on
the following sub networks; curtis and curtispub, ccsnoc, scott and
scottpub. The repeater platform moves and upgrades should be completed
in unison with the router upgrades.
