Michel's message about the Djakarta conference on health promotion gave
an URL for an electronic version of the conference announcements, that
he found did not work.

I did find the correct address/URL for the conference announcement. It
is:

http://www.ki.se/phs/wcc_seh/events/jakarta.html

There was a slight difference between the address that Michel offered
and this one - note the _ between the 'wcc' and the 'seh'. For future
reference when searching for electronic files that might have been typed
incorrectly (happens all the time) - keep removing the parts of the
URL/location until you can get to a related site, and then follow a
path/links to the correct file. In this case I went to the Public
Health School at Karolinska Institute [http://www.ki.se/phs/], then
looked for the site that might be wccseh - World Collaborating Centre on
Supportive Environments for Health clicked on it and then on Events to
get to this site.

The page starts with:
NEW PLAYERS FOR A NEW ERA
                          Leading Health Promotion
                             into the 21st Century
                         Fourth International Conference on Health
Promotion
                                        Jakarta, Indonesia
                                         21-25 July 1997
                Promoting health in tomorrow's world

Depending on your web browser, it may be a difficult page to read (or is
it just aging eyes?). Thank you Michel for the lead to this site and to
keeping us informed of what is going on with this conference.

Another technical note: for the past week or more there have been some
problems experienced with 'attachments' that seem to be at the bottom of
messages in CLICK4HP. My last message was plagued by this problem, when
I replied to Michel's message about click4hp's one-year anniversary.
The annoying phantom 'attachments' appeared when someone posted a reply
to a group/list when using Microsoft Outlook /Wndows 95 e-mail system.
We think we have figured out how to prevent this from happening .
***But only YOU will be able to tell me [please send me an e-mail to
[log in to unmask]] if this attachment happens to appear again.*** I am
testing it by sending this message as a reply, to the list, and using
the dreaded Microsoft Outlook system to do it.
