Hi. I am interested in this topic as well. The Kenora Rainy River
DHC has expressed interest in including health promotion into primary
care as part of the Integrated Health Delivery System.

At a session sponsored by the Thunder Bay and Kenora/Rainy River
District Health Council on Integrated Health System on April 7& 8, this question
came up especially in relation to the move to fund Public Health by
municipalities. Ideally Health Promotion would be funded as part
of the IHS but that is not the current proposals.

I would like to be part of larger discussion on this topic as it is
current and has implications for planning and service in the near
future.
