I would like to second Susan's feedback on Taylor's careful and thoughtful
review of Billie Valentine-Fonorow's book.

Attempts to find more historical info about Valentine-Fonorow and her
interest in Mark Twain have produced very little data.  If anyone has
information on her background and previous career, I'd welcome hearing from
them in order to add more info to her entry in the online roster of
deceased authors who wrote about Mark Twain.
