We've temporarily disabled outbound ftp from the interactive machines on
the Phoenix cluster because of a security exposure identified by IBM.

We are currently working on installing the fix/patch. Until then, users
will not be able to ftp from Phoenix to other machines (inbound
connections still OK). We hope to have outbound ftp available again
before tomorrow (Friday, Oct31).
