Thanks to all of you who provided information on
"specially designated days" - I guess the stars were
with me because today the New "Health Promotion in
Canada" journal arrived and the back four pages is a
very comprehensive list of just what I was asking
(days, weeks, years and decades - national and
international)!  (in vol. 34 number 2 (1997))
