Announcing MEDNET 97 - The World Congress on the Internet in
Medicine.

The event is organised by the Society for the Internet in Medicine
(SIM), and will take place at The Brighton Centre, Brighton, United
Kingdom on the 3rd - 6th November 1997.

MEDNET 97 follows on from the highly successful MEDNET 96, and will
again bring together a multi-disciplinary body of doctors, nurses,
general practitioners, computer professionals, academics, information
professionals and IT managers from around the world. It will feature a
full technical programme demonstrating the latest developments in
Internet technology as applied to medicine, together with both
advanced and  basic teaching workshops and a large commercial
exhibition.

Parallel to the physical event there will be a Virtual Conference and
Exhibition which itself will make innovative use of the web.
