There were disk space related problems with the mail delivery system
from about 2am last night until 9am this morning which have resulted in
a backlog of undelivered messages. Mail sent/received during that time
was queued for re-delivery and is being processed as quickly as
possible. The end result is you might receive some of your mail today
several hours after it was sent. No mail was lost and there is no need
for you to resend any messages sent during the time of the problem.
Mail sent since this morning is being delivered on time.
CCS is working towards increasing the disk space available to the mail
delivery system and monitoring the current usage to avoid any further
interruption of service. You can help by filing your incoming mail into
your own personal folders rather than leaving them in the system inbox
and by limiting the size of the messages you send to less than 1MB.
