Network Operations will be conducting routine maintenance on one of the
core campus routers.
The scheduled maintenance window from 00:00 to 06:00 Sunday March 1,
1997 will be used to complete the required work.
The following networks and their related services will be affected
during the router outage:

- petrie0.hub Petrie Science Building.
- telecom0.hub Telecommunications 016 Steacie.
- All access to and from the Internet.
- All remote Centrex and ISDN remote sites (Fac. of Edu., YCT, Executive
Development).
- lumbers0.hub Lumbers Building.
- atkinsontwrII0.hub Atkinson Building.
- ccis0.hub Computing and Communications Services, Steacie Science
Library. BootP services.
- ccsvms0.hub Steacie Science Library.
- All access to and from Glendon College.
- scottpub0.hub public network access in Scott Library.
- scott0.swx Scott Library trusted access.
- eob0.swx East Office Building trusted access.
- Access to and from all services on the central services FDDI/Switched
Ethernet/Shared Ethernet
machine room subnet, DHCP services. The internal ring itself will not be
affected.
- Ross North, Ross South and Ross Central networks, Ross Building.
- All dial-up access authentication. Any dial-up access connected prior
to the outage will be limited to networks and their related resources on
the York main campus not listed.
- steacie-sci0.hub Steacie Science Library.
- Network Operations Network Management subnet supporting, DNS services,
Spectrum etc..
