While the University is closed for the Christmas break, Network
Operations will be carrying out annual preventative maintenance
tasks, as well as certain software upgrades to the data network.
This work will result in some interruption to network services,
including Internet access on Sunday Dec. 29 during the times listed
below:

10:00 - 16:00hrs: Computer Science Building

During this period there will be several service interruptions of
various lengths affecting all network services in the Computer
Science Building.  This outage is necessary in order to perform
software upgrades to a core switch in the building.

10:00 - 14:00hrs: All Keele & Glendon Campus Buildings, Dialup
Service, Internet & CA*Net Access.

During this period there will be several brief service interruptions
of approx. 5 minutes to network services in each building.  These
brief service interruptions will also impact the University's dial
up modem service as well Internet/CA*Net Access. These outages are
necessary in order to perform software upgrades to various network
components.
