New Positions Available! 

        Clearinghouse Coordinator 
                                Communications Coordinator and Editor
                                                                          Website Coordinator

The CWHN is happy to announce we are seeking 3 creative individuals and who
are comfortable in a rapidly changing work environment to join with us in
building the CWHN's programs. This project is currently funded for  4
years. We anticipate the work to be challenging but we are committed to
making it fun as well!  Draft job descriptions are available upon request.
                        
Clearinghouse Coordinator: 
This full time position is responsible for the development and maintenance
of  all components of a national clearinghouse and database pertaining to
women's health  available by website, 1-800 number, fax,  and  mail. 
Requirements: The ability to communicate in both official languages;
significant experience in library resource management, with the current
information management technologies; excellent written and verbal
communication skills.  Detailed knowledge of community health and  women's
health issues with a strong commitment to accessibility will be needed.
Experience with database development;   in providing information to a wide
target audience;  and in coordinating volunteers and students are
significant assets. Salary range: $32,000 - $38,000. 

Communications Coordinator and Editor: 
This full time position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the
production of a quarterly newsletter and other CWHN publications and
materials; membership communications and promotion; social marketing
strategies; and subscription base development.
Requirements: the ability to communicate effectively in both official
languages, experience in all aspects of small magazine management with
excellent writing and editing skills. Experience with Website publishing an
asset. The ability to use email, html encoding and word processing programs
will be required.  Salary range: $32,000 - $38,000. 

Website Coordinator: 
This half time position has responsibility for the design and maintenance
the CWHN website;  writing or editing materials for addition to the
website; and assisting members and staff in using these technologies.
Requirements: ability to communicate in both official languages, documented
experience with website design,  excellent writing skills and experience in
social service agencies. Knowledge of women's health issues, training and
ability to use Java are significant assets.   Salary Range: $16,000 - $
19,000 per annum.

organizations, and institutions concerned with women's health. Our goals
include: Providing easier access to health information, resources and
research; producing user-friendly materials and resources; acting as a
"watchdog" on emerging issues and trends that may affect women's health.
We are an active participant in Health Canada's Centres of Excellence for
Women's Health Program with the specific responsibilities  to further
promote communication, information sharing and interaction among all
