The Centre for Health Promotion at the University of Toronto has just released the
133 page volume:

Quality of Life: Dream or Reality?
Life for People With Developmental Disabilities in Ontario

The volume contains findings from a province-wide study of 504 persons with
developmental disabilities. It is a detailed account of:

* Life for people with developmental disabilities
* A way to assess quality of life
* QOL scores of people with developmental disabilities who live on their own, with
families, in small homes, and in large care facilities
* Personal control for people with developmental disabilities.

Please pass this on to acquaintances to whom this would be of interest.
