SPSS 6.1 is available for testing on the softtest node of the Phoenix
cluster (softtest.phoenix.yorku.ca). This release contains a number of
new features and a redistribution of statistical procedures which were
formerly in the Base system.

A list of the new features are contained in /usr/local/spss6.1/Features.

To testdrive SPSS 6.1, login to softtest.phoenix.yorku.ca and enter,
"spss61" with the appropriate flags. Please direct all
