Thanks Andy--am aware of the fragments at the Twain Papers; thought perhaps
they had been reproduced somewhere.  And the Winter argument . . . .that's
a connection I'm very interested.  First outlined by Frank Lorch some years
ago, this thesis does seem to be a sensible one.
