Perhaps the earliest example of redheaded writing attributed to Twain
appeared in the Hannibal Journal, May 1853 titled "Oh, She Has a
Red Head!". The essay is reprinted in Univ. of Cal. Press'
_Early Tales & Sketches, Volume 1: 1851-1864_ along with an
explanatory preface discussing Twain's hair color.
