** IISD's Youth International Internship Program 1998/1999 **


The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) is now
accepting applications for 1998/1999 Youth International Internship
Program (YIIP). The purpose of the internship is to communicate
sustainable development to global audiences, using Internet
technologies. Thirty internships will be awarded to recent college and
university graduates who have a combined knowledge of and experience in
sustainable development issues and delivering information on the
Internet. Two Interns will be based at IISD in Winnipeg, and the rest
will be posted with organizations collaborating with IISD around the
world. Internships are from 6-8 months.
