There will be a major outage of several central computing services this
Wednesday, Oct. 24 from 11:00 pm until midnight.  This is due to
urgent maintenance that needs to be performed on a shared data storage
device.

This outage will require the following services to be unavailable:

Phoenix academic computing systems
E-Mail
LISTSERV
York Central Web
Student Web server
Roaming Access Server
Anonymous ftp
WebCT server
