*** Attention dial-up modem pool users ***

As you're aware, Bell Canada telephone cables on campus were damaged
on July 15th.  This damage had a major impact on York's dial-up modem pool
service.  Bell's latest repair completion date is Tuesday July
23th.  This date represents the completion of all repairs...ie...the
availability of modem pool service will continually increase until that
time.  The current status of the affected modem pools is as follows;

416-736-6965 Faculty of Education Pool  available at 75% capacity
416-736-6004 general purpose pool       available at 50% capacity
1-888-677-2111 remote access pool       returned to full service
