South Asia Partnership International is seeking for a new position a
full time Executive Director
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location:  Colombo, Sri Lanka
Starting:  January 1, 1997 (flexible)
Contract:  Two years, renewable
Terms:     NGO scale, non-diplomatic, plus benefits

Qualifications:  South Asian national with at least ten years
development experience in South Asia.
Experience in management, preferably in the voluntary or non-profit
sector.
Knowledge/experience of South Asia as a region.
Experience in organizational development, capability or capacity
building.
Familiarity with the International donor community.
Ability to communicate effectively with variety of audiences.
Relevant university degree, preferably at post-graduate level.
Age preference: between 35 and 50 years.

Compensation: SAP International will offer a compensation package of
up to
US$2,000 per month, which will include as necessary an overseas
allowance.
