Dear Click4HPers,
I recently came across a good resource, in my cyber travels, that I
thought some of you may be interested in.
Health Canada's National Advisory Council on Aging, has recently
released a document entitled "How are Health Reforms Affecting Seniors?
A Participatory Evaluation Guide." While it is aimed at seniors' health
programs, this evaluation guide book is a very generic tool that could
be used by any one doing Community Health/Health Promotion work,
especially anyone wishing to do Participatory Evaluation.
It is available on-line at (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/seniors-aines)...take
a look in the "what's new" section...it's available in PDF format (adobe
acrobat) in English and French. I highly recommend it for anyone doing
HP work or teaching a course on HP evaluation.
Take care,
Shawn Chirrey, MHSc
