The book "Building Food Security in Canada" authored by Laura L. Kalina
discusses food security issues as they relate to hunger, income,
unemployment, the family, etc. It is a good resource on the topic and
lists other food action projects in Canada. It is available from the
South Central Health Unit, 905 Southill Street, Kamloops, BC, V2B 7Z9,
phone: 250) 665-6200, fax: (250) 376-4708.
