*M&E Concentration Offered in University of Pretoria MPH Program*

The School of Health Systems and Public Health at the University of Pretoria
in South Africa is currently accepting applications for the 2012- 2013
Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program. MEASURE Evaluation has
collaborated with the University of Pretoria to offer a monitoring and
evaluation concentration in their 18-month MPH program to increase the
capacity for monitoring and evaluating population, health and nutrition
programs.

*International Workshop on M&E of Public Health Programs *

To build the capacity of M&E professionals who are actively engaged in the
public health sector, a two-week non-degree workshop is offered at Obafemi
Awolowo University in Nigeria, September 19-30, 2011, to provide training in
M&E systems and the application of M&E data to decision-making in population
and health programming. Application deadline is July 24, 2011
