You might be interested in the following websites that I have been developing:

   1. http://www.bestpractices-healthpromotion.com/: this website is devoted
to making available the best practice work that Barbara Kahan and I (and
many collaborators) have been undertaking during the past number of years.
This site includes extensive elaboration of the "Interactive Domain Model of
Best Practices in Health Promotion" (Kahan & Goodstadt, 2001) and its
components (i.e., values, theory, evidence, a health promotion understanding
of the environments, and appropriate responses to health-related issues,
environment-related issues, and research/evaluation). In addition, it
includes: frameworks and resources to guide the identification and use of
evidence in health promotion practice, extensive discussion of
evaluation/research methods, and a host of resources, links, etc., relevant
to the practice of health promotion.
   2. My "teaching" websites (i.e., associated with my University of Toronto
course "Health Promotion Strategies: Taking a Best Practices Approach"):
         1. http://www.bestpractices-healthpromotion.com/strategies/: this
website is the more general introduction to my course, its goals,
requirements etc.
         2. http://www.bestpractices-healthpromotion.com/coursereadings/:
this website provides very extensive resources related to health promotion
in general and best practices in particular--including extensive recommended
readings lists, bibliographies, PowerPoint presentations, links to other
sites and on-line resources.

Many thanks

Michael Goodstadt
