We are trying to set up a food depot in our area. We are all
neophytes to this. We have contacted the closest
foodbanks to us and discovered that they require users to fill out a form
with a great deal of confidential information including income
sources, living arrangements, etc. We are unsure of why the
collection of this information is necessary and we would like to be less
"intrusive" and don't want to have to ask people these kinds of
questions. For us, if someone needs food, that is enough information.
Does anyone have experience in this area. Do you know if all food
banks require this kind of information and is there another way to
handle it?
Thanks,
Liz Derraugh
