Hello all,

I posted a while back about how useful this list was to providing
information to NGO's that were working with the Committee on Social,
Economic and Cultural Rights in Geneva to frame issues and questions for
Canada. The list of issues have just been officially released. To read
them go to:

http://hypermail.community.web.net/archives/ow-watch-l/msg00121.html

To learn a bit more about the process and how to connect with it go to:

http://hypermail.community.web.net/archives/ow-watch-l/msg00122.html

To learn more about the importance and role of rights claiming go to:

http://www.swc-cfc.gc.ca/publish/research/edprg-e.html

Do people have thoughts on what role human rights have in HP? Or what role
rights claiming has? What role should orgs like OPHA or CPHA play with
NGO's that are working on this stuff?

S
