My original query was not totally accurate in describing the
responsibilities of Ms. Burton. Here is the updated information.

Mary Kardos Burton has recently been appointed as Executive Director of
Health Systems, a new position which will have responsibility for two new
branches,  the Finance and  Information Management Branch and the
Operational Support Branch, as well as Community Health and Health
Promotion, Public Health and Emergency Health.

My question is does anyone know this individual? Please e/mail me directly.

Also, the following information may interest people who deal with the
Ontario Ministry of Health.

Sue Davey is the Acting Director of Community and Health Promotion and has
direct  responsibilities for CHC/Midwifery/Diabetes programs and the Health
Promotion Branch.  Dorothy Loranger is the Lead Director for Community
Health and Dr. Colin D’Cunha is the Director of Public Health.
