For World Heart Days, our coalition has attempted to reach people through
faith groups. See our web site, www.niagarahearthealth.com for a file on
materials that we made available this past September. We promoted the
package through the newspapers and direct mail to groups that we knew were
interested. An earlier ad requested submissions from people. A committee of
representatives from faith groups reviewed the submissions and created the
package of material.
Last year we did phone surveys with people from faith groups to identify
interest.
