Outsiders (of Canada) Update:

The province-wide teachers strike agsinst the
draconian Bill 160 strike is in its second week.

The Government tried to get a court injunction to order
striking teachers back to work. It was rejected by the
courts.

An Environics Poll show greater support for teachers than
the government.

Public and private sector unions have offered whatever
support the teachers wish.

The government has refused to make substantive changes to
Bill 160.
