For your information, the (finally!) new Mandatory Health
Programs and Services Guidelines for Public Health Departments
across Ontario are finalized and available on the Ontario
gov't website:

http:\\www.gov.on.ca/health/english/pub/public/manprog/

I presume if the word "french" is substituted for "english"
the french language version is available.

This is a 50 page document outlining the program goals and
objectives and their requirements and standards.  The table of
contents include an introduction, information about general
standards (which apply accross the others) and Program
Standards (Chronic Disease and INjuries, Family Health, and
Infectious Diseases)

I look forward to hearing comments from this group.....
