Does anybody out there have any references for studies that have been
done on stigma and addictions? There is lots of material on the stigma of
having a mental illness, but it seems not much on stigma associated with
being dependent on drugs or alcohol. I am also interested in your
anecdotal experience with stigma and addictions, particularly if you've
worked with folks experiencing this stigma.
