I attended a lecture a few years ago where the speaker said that it is
believed (by some) that Samuel Clemens also wrote under another pseudonym
during the civil war while writing editorials and/or letters to editor.
The speaker said Clemens used the name Thomas Jefferson Snodgrass. Can
anyone point me in the right direction for obtaining any research on this?

Much obliged!

John
