Hi folks,

My name is Lawrence Murphy and I have recently joined this listserv. I
thought that I would introduce myself. Also, I have a question about Ontario
curriculum.

But first...I am the new substance abuse prevention programer in the
Hamilton-Wentworth Health Department. I am recently returned to Ontario,
having spent the last decade in BC (with Surrey OPC as a therapist) and
Saskatchewan (with Cardwell Human Resources as a therapist and corporate
consultant). I am just getting my feet wet, so I am meeting with all and
sundry, reviewing literature, and planning. I'm looking forward to
contributing to the list.

My question is a follow-up to a previous curriculum question. Ontario
requires grade 1 and 2 curriculum to be focused on recognizing medecines,
non-prescription vs prescription, outlining safe use of medecines and the
like. Anyone out there know of any resources available? Anyone heard of a
video called Mr. Finley's Pharmacy?

Thanks in advance.

Lawrence Murphy, M.A.
