The University of Toronto MHSc Program in Health Promotion has updated it's
web site. One important aspect is the ability of an agency or organization
to post practicum opportunities.
Our students have two practicums. During the first year of the program,
students spend June, July, and August at an agency or organization working
on the day to day activities of the agency.
During the second year of the program, students spend Januuary, February,
March, and April working on an inquiry, usually based within an
organization or agency. These are full time practica and it is expected
that students will be financially supported in some way by the agency or
organization.
These practica can occur anywhere in the world, though usually students
remain in Ontario.
