Hi Tricia.

You may want to refer to ACTION developed by OPHEA. This kit includes
lesson plans, student- run and school-wide activities. I have an extra copy
in my office if you would like to look at it. Marguerite Thomas in your
Health Unit has one also, I believe.

called Teen Esteem, an eight week group session for Gr 6-8 girls, lead by
community volunteer women which has been extremely popular in local schools.
The curriculum deals with self esteem, and expanding the sense of the
possible with respect to career and education opportunities. We also have
developed a 16 week curriculum for high risk grade 7 girls that explores
issues of healthy sexual choices, gender and power issues in relationships
and developing a healthy body image with respect to sexuality. Contact me
for futher information.
