I would greatly appreciate any leads concerning the following matter: it is
well known that many patented drugs were 'discovered' by studying the
medicinal properties of various plants that were well known by practitioners
of traditional medicine in developing countries.   It was suggested (when?
by whom?) that these countries somehow obtain patents or rights to some of
the profits generated by these drugs.   Does anyone have references on this?
