Mental Health Issues in Pregnancy and Postpartum...A Comprehensive Update

in partnership with Reproductive Psychiatry Program, St. Paul’s Hospital
Postpartum Support International D.H. Kelly and Associates Consulting,
Education, and Psychotherapy

Purpose of Conference: To give information and raise awareness of mental
health issues in
pregnancy and postpartum. To look at the effect of maternal mental
health on the development of the baby. To review both pharmacological and
non-pharmacological treatments in pregnant and lactating women. To
explore how discrimination in the workplace during pregnancy and postpartum
affects
mood disorders. To examine a provincial outreach program for Reproductive
Mental Health
through BC Women’s Hospital.

Application for Registration
We require applications to be received by June 21, 1999 in order to
ensure that course materials are available.
