1999.  The Call for Abstracts has been distributed and you are invited to
submit abstracts for consideration as a paper presentation, a panel

Theme: The Health of the Public: Influences and Outcomes

Deadline for Submission of Abstracts: November 16, 1998

Conference goal:  To provide an educational and networking opportunity
which will strengthen the impact of those interested in promoting and
protecting the health of the public.

Conference objectives:
To promote intersectoral action on health influences and outcomes.
To expand awareness and understanding of evidence-based public health
principles, knowledge and practice.
To demonstrate the health and economic benefits that increased emphasis and
action on health promotion and protection, injury prevention, and the
determinants of health provide to the health system.
To stimulate discussion and facilitate networking among those involved in
issues related to health issues and outcomes.
