Greetings and apologies for any cross-postings!

This week the IDN offers you a glimpse behind the scenes of the USAID
Web Site at http://www.idn.org/#Transparency: By the Numbers

Often times, one may wonder what discussion or thought takes place
behind the scenes of a development agency web site. Here you will find a
sampling of e-mail discussions from USAID and some of the thoughts from
the people responsible for that site. After reading those messages,
which were retrieved from the USAID site, offer your comments in the
USAID Web Site Discussion Forum.

You will also find that USAID finally eliminated their goose egg (zero)
in the transparency watch.

The IDN is pleased to welcome our latest sponsoring members: The
Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton
University and Mr. Francisco Incerpi. You can find out more about these
new members at http://www.idn.org/members/index.htm

World Bank Proposal for a Comprehensive Development Framework

The purpose of this paper is to provoke discussion, experimentation and
action. Over the next eighteen months, the World Bank wants to elicit
input and guidance from all its partners, critics and from skeptics on
the concept and on its operational feasibility. With a number of our
client countries and partners, the World bank will also be embarking on
pilots to apply the Comprehensive Development Framework approach. You
